    One owner cars

I think so too. I had my first two by my third year in med school. 33 yo (lawyer), 37 (pulmonologist/intensivist), 39 yo (dentist). That was a crap ton of tuition :censored:

    One owner cars

The car sat dormant for a long while as life and new adventures demanded more of my attention. Adding e-brakes and possibly new engine management this summer for better drivabilty. Will be more present here on out.

    What's your daily driver?

    Hi Vance!
  7. lowellhigh79

    What's your daily driver?

2021 Volvo V60 Polestar. Tiny supercharger, tiny turbo and e-motor. 25 mile plug in range. Averaging 260 mpg on current tank. Solid car, nice ride. Grew up in a station wagon, so I love sport wagons. Weird karma thing. The Volvo offsets my NSX transgressions.

    One owner cars

One owner here. Bought in March 1992, in Ann Arbor MI. I had no money but with only 4 months of training left, and a job lined up in Vegas, the dealer let me have her with zero down, 5k off msrp, and the first payment due in August. During the "Buy American" craze and 40 miles from Dearborn...

So, who's planning on buying the new NSX?

Got involved in two other non-automotive hobbies. I think I came down with NSX burnout after NSXPO 2010, but slowly getting interested again. Good to see you're still carrying the torch! Regards,

So, who's planning on buying the new NSX?

Wife approved, two kids getting done with grad school in May 2014 (Med school and dental school) and last kid should be half way through law school by then. Still, I plan to wait a few years till any bugs have been worked out and updates/ sporty versions offered. Still remember 95-97s coming out...

    UPHELD!!! Obamacare

J You just made the argument for the proponents. You can't get around it because health insurance is for you, not a car or house or merchandise.

    Hello Vegas NSXers

Congratulations! Better Sandra expecting than Nik going bald any day! We miss you guys and that wedding picture sure does bring back good memories. I've been MIA with the dog shows taking most of my time and we're out of town a lot. Will get back with the boys when the weather cools down later...

Article: Why Honda Is In Even More Trouble Than You Think [Deep Thoughts]

Too many "YES" men. My dates may be a little off but this is a true story to illustrate this point. One of my moonlighting jobs during my anesthesia residency at U of Michigan from 1989-1992, was doing mobile physical exams (EKG and blood draws too) for large life insurance policies. One such...

30th Anniversary: Suggestions for Europe Trip

We'll be celebrating our 30th next April (2013) and I need to start planning for the trip. Can't believe we never went before (we did plan this for our 20th but scratched this for family reasons). Date is 4/28, so we're looking between mid April to mid May. 10-14 days. Want to visit London...

    Dry Sump for NSX (C30A)?

Autowave designed this system, working closely with Dailey, ATI and Brown & Miller. Herculean effort undertaking this really difficult task that required MANY revisions and modifications to finally work. TIGHT fitment but super clean once everything came together. Pure candy. Danny

    Dry Sump for NSX (C30A)?

Found some pics... The red breather element in front of the BOV lets air into the motor because of the vacuum created by the pump. Not a do it yourself though.

    Dry Sump for NSX (C30A)?

I have the Dailey 5 stage dry sump with a 2 gallon tank. One stage pulls oil from the turbos. It was a royal PITA to set up and I still need a bigger tank due to the volume of oil coming back (think large garden hose spraying into a small bucket). Will get around to track testing some time soon...

    Doomsday Preppers

The Road is an excellent movie for just this thread. Deals with what happens when all the bullets, food and hope are gone. Just surviving.
