Does anyone in here have a problem with Bilstein front shocks( passenger side) having the threaded bolt part being too long? One plastic cap wont cover the panel (just in front of the windshield wiper). I popped it on but the thread is about 1/8 inch too long. If I could grind it down that much...

Two questions men: 1) My mechanic thinks the Comptech unit should not have a noisy rotation like the bearings or gears inside the unit are making a grinding noise. Is it normal to have some mechanical type noise or is it suppose to be as smooth (no noise at all) as say in-line skates'...
