Trust me, you can't tell how loud it is in the video. The guy in the videos is using a Nathan K3 model, which is a real train horn. I have the same model and it will make people jump at 100+ yards. It sounds exactly like most trains.

I agree 100%. Reserved only for really bad drivers, etc. I have a CCW in case any of those folks react poorly.

I got the horn put on today and it is silly loud. My car doesn't have nearly enough sound deadening material in it. My ears are ringing and I only hit the thing about 8 times since I got it. I'm wearing hearing protection from now on.

Yes, there'll be a small button on the dash for the train horn. The OEM horn will still function from the wheel (got to have a reasonable option available for lesser offenses). The train horn is a weapon of mass distraction that'll be used sparingly.

VIDEO The horn in these clips is a Nathan K3 locomotive horn from www.hornblasters.com. I've got one going in my E55 as we speak. Nobody will guess where the racket is coming from. Mine will be reserved for bad drivers only. No plans to unload on random pedestrians.

Some of those current WRXs are pretty fast. A heavily modded one almost kept up with my E55 that other day...almost.

I hadn't noticed that part, but I can assure you that its a reference to the Civic owners with loud exausts that bug the Porsche guys (and NSX guys). The NSX is not guilty by association. I hope you'll all reconsider. The 6speedonline.com guys are a good bunch.
