*Timing Belt replaced January 2018*

We purchased this NSX in 1997 with about 12k miles on it. The previous owner was an SCCA racer, and had done a number of modifications to the car. Due to that, it would be safe to assume that the first owner used the car for track days or possibly auto-X.

The list of modifications, as provided by St. Louis Acura that did at least some of the work, is as follows:
Upgraded Billet oil pump.
Suspension - Koni adjustable shocks, Eibach springs
Comptech brake upgrade -rotors and stainless steel brake lines.
Engine - Comptech ported and polished cylinder heads, headers and intake manifold are port matched to the cylinders. Has a high flow intake manifold, high flow air filter housing, upgraded Comtech camshafts and cam wheels.
Complete Comptech exhaust system.
Has a close ratio gear set in the transmission and comptechs upgraded clutch.

With the engine modifications, this NSX puts down 255hp and 185 ft-lb of torque at the wheels. This is about a 20-30hp gain at the wheels over stock, and appears to be pretty typical of what would be expected with Intake/Headers/Exhaust work.

KNOWN ISSUES

There are a couple of known issues with the car:

Rims do have some road rash.
The drivers side door has a scratch just in front of the air intake.
The drivers door handle has some fine scratches near it.
The Left Front fender has some small scratches.
The Left bolster on the drivers seat has some minor wear.

The paint issues noted and shown in the photos could easily be corrected; I have just been hesitant to do so as there has been no other paint work done to it.

Contact me at [email protected] with any questions.
We are asking $70k OBO.

The car is located in Springfield, IL.
I encourage any interested parties to have PPI done, and would be happy to work with you to schedule one.

Just as a heads up, the VIN in your title/details is incorrect (the VIN in your picture is correct), so people may struggle researching when they copy and paste.

Should be JH4NA1155RT000296 as you show in your picture.

Updating this post.

HVAC fan has been repaired.
My detailer took care of the rub marks on the bumper, and also did a good job with some of the fine scratches.
The timing belt was replaced just a couple of weeks ago as well.
