I joined the S2000 club for a drive to Oracle, AZ yesterday and had a good time. They're a friendly group of people and welcomed me as one of their own. The drive was extremely well organized, and the organizer was very knowledgeable about local area drives. Arizona 177 was recently designated the "Copper Country Scenic Route" in 2008, and this was my first time driving it. I enjoyed the route, and would like to do it again with other NSXers.

I continued toward Tucson and met up with Viper Driver and tucsonsx, and we had a nice lunch at Sir Veza's Taco Garage. Then I saw TucAZNSX and caught up on things with her. Afterward, I took a brief detour to my old stomping grounds at U of A before driving back to Phoenix, where I met up with several NSXers at the Scottsdale Pavilions. It was a long, but really fun day. Several people approached me and asked about the NSX; it was nice to see renewed public interest and appreciation in the car. Here are some photos, enjoy!

Met up with the S2000 crew in the morning.

Oh Boy that looks like fun! Kelvin your car is stunning!

I have family in Oracle. Haven't been there in 20 years however. I was born and lived in Tucson for several years as well as several burbs of Phoenix. Looks like a fun time.

Great photos, and it was great seeing you again! Hope to make it up to Phoenix one day soon to hang out on your "turf". Looks like the Pavillions is a lot of fun.

Thanks guys, Safelite repaired my windshield crack this morning so I'm a happy camper. :)

Kelvin - great pictures my friend! Glad the S2K guys were extra welcoming. It's a shame I couldn't join you for the cruise to Tucson, but I left a couple hours after you. I ended up grabbing coffee @ Ina & Oracle with a friend and then having to head straight back home to get ready for the UFEST concert out in Mesa later that night. Looks like a great turnout at Pavs too! I need to get over the next time you're planning on going. Congratulations on turning 50,000 miles in the MCB beauty. I'm honored to say I was able to put a mile or two on that car when I took her for a spin a few weeks ago!
