So the specs on my new wheels are 17x7.5 et45 and 18x9.5 et40. Tires are Sumitomo 215/40/17 and 265/35/18
I know I want to do a 5mm up front to go to 40mm, if I do a 5mm will 35mm will it be to aggressive? or would you leave it at 40?
To confirm hubcentric 70.1 mm front, 64.1 mm rear
TIA,
Kevin
as she sits now on 18/19. New tires are the same diameter. 17/18

I'm at +35 front and +25 rear I think you'll be fine with those spacers but I'm probably lower then you areimage.jpg

Thanks that looks great. I know it has new Bilsteins, not sure what springs. Last year when I was looking I bought a used set of eibachs that I might install.

From searching pime FAQ I think I found my answer:What Offsets Have Been Tried?

- I have 7.5" width in front and running 45mm I have 9.5" width in rear and also running 45mm. The front wheels could be moved more outwards another 0.25". The rear wheels are perfect IMO.

Honestly, you won't really notice a 5mm difference in terms of look. The only real reason to run a 5mm spacer is if your wheel spokes don't clear the brake calipers.
In any case, for reference, my current wheels are 18x8 +35 and 19x9.5 +25. By comparison, your 17x7.5 +40 will sit about 11mm more inward than mine. Your 18x9.5 +35 will sit 10 mm more inward than mine.

Hapa that stance is about perfect...
I wish I would have gone with the 17x8 et 35 instead but some were saying that is too aggressive.
I will run it as they are for now until the BBK goes into development and I need the clearance.

The stance is nice, but 17x8 et 35 is aggressive. I rub the fenderliners quite a bit which detracts from the driving experience. I'd much rather have had a +40 or even +45 on a 8" width wheel to be completely honest.

What are your alignment specs? Any way you could add more negative camber up front to eliminate the rubbing?
