Hi guys,

I've got a 1991 UK spec (right hand drive) NSX in which the OEM Bose sound system has completely packed up. All I get is a continuos high pitched squeal...

I have decided to do away with the OEM stereo and replace it with a new single DIN head unit, new speakers and a new amp.

My question is, does anyone know if I can buy a new fascia which will allow a new head unit to slot straight in keeping the section for the heater controls rather than butchering my existing fascia?

Also are there any problems removing the old stereo? Is it attached to the heater controls etc?

Any useful tips and help you can provide will be greatly appreciated

This is for a Left hand drive car mine is Right hand drive, do you know of anyone that does a Right hand drive version?

My bad.

You can get your console reworked by HCA for a plug and play solution. See thread here:

or you could maybe get one of these and spend countless hours trying to cut a nice single din cutout.

or you could do a slick retrofit WITHOUT MODIFYING THE CENTER CONSOLE like fkong777 did here:
