A/C clutch burned 3 times!

The clutch (if propably working) is capable of stalling the engine at adle when the compressor is somehow stuck.

I think the problem lies in the adjustment to the clutch, when installing,(especially new one) the gap should be 0,5 mm (PLease check this in the service manual).

If this gap is to small it might be slipping (and overheating) when clutch is disengaged or if gap is to big it might be slipping at high revs and clutch engaged.

The overheating will burn the electric coil and or ruin the bearing....
 
hello, here is an update for this problem. The garage fixed the clutch and the compressor seemed fine. Al is running fine now BUT i have sold the car so i can't tell how it will hold. i drove three years and 40kkm with the car and it was big fun. The good news is i still drive honda the bad news is it is not (yet) a NSX
