Depending on the throttle it's doable I've seen it before.
Like L_Rao pointed out what are you planing to use? (also how are you going to adapt the neck of the manifold for the bore diameter)
Haven't decided yet, maybe just a OEM throttle body but with all the stepper motor removed to reduce weight.
My other thought was ITB's using the OEM ECU & using another TPS 0-3V wired to the replace the Map sensor now that we have sr5Guy's definition.
I'm going to give it a try anyway.
All you need to do is force the ECU into MAP sensor limp mode, and clear the MAP sensor codes manually. By default it uses the TPS for LOAD calculations (alpha-n LOAD) when the MAP sensor fails and even has some TPS - LOAD scaling tables built in for for adjustment.
