This unit and the new SOS console could be a perfect mate for iPod/iPhone users. Anyone with this unit yet?

It looks great but the Amazon reviews are not too kind. The promo video on Pioneers website makes the software looks slow. This is noted in the reviews as well. There is no frustration like a slow interface.

I played with one in a friends zo6. It feels like android used to, half done.

The interface is laggy, the 4-5 apps he actually had didn't/barely worked.

That said it did have some potential, but I'd wait for a software update or a version 2.

Cool idea if you have an iPhone.

I am looking at the x930BT though again without an iPhone you only get half the features

Thanks for the headsup, looks like we have to wait for version 2 next year. Great concept, I'm sure pioneer will make it better
