Sorry im a new owner. i did use the "search thingy" nothing was found.

specs: white 96 3.0tt

my question is: At what % when you let out your clutch your car is engage in gear?

stepping alway down = 0%
mid point = 50%
let it completely out = 100%

reason why i ask is, my nsx clutch doesnt seem to engage until about 85% is let out. clutch does not slip from all gears.

What should i check. clutch fuild seem fine.

is this normal? cause previous cars clutch engage is around like 60%.

contact number is 6825580290 Tx.

young grasshopper is learning.

when I got mine I noticed that to. it grabs pretty high.

or I think my clutch is worn and needs to be replaced.

but I can still dump the clutch and melt tires. with the TCS off lol

The free play in the petal is set by an adjustment of the push rod for the clutch master cylinder. Wear of the clutch does not change the engagement point. A clutch petal that is adjusted to factory specs will engage high.

I always completely press the clutch pedal in when shifting. It’s habit from 30 years of driving manual cars. What you are describing will wear out the clutch.
