I like the design but thought the car would be a little faster than what the car magazines are posting. It might need a little more juice. Other than that, they have a great contender on their hands.

Wait for the Gallardo powered V10 version.

I love it. I think it's absolutely gorgeous, and it sounds amazing. My number two car in life. I'm driving the #1 right now, but there's no denying the NSX is past it's prime in performance.

I like the numbers. But the style (looks) doesn't quite win me over. Still a nice ride though. :smile:

It's not diesel and it doesn't have 800 ft-lbs of torque... I don't like it... :tongue: (R10 I'm waiting for you!)

I'm not a fan of the different color "sail" panels. And there is something else about the car that just hasn't won me over yet...perhaps in person it will look better.

i honestly think the R8 isn't a very photogenic car.... it looks so much better in person... i was like most... and very hesitent about the look of the car... but after seeing it in person at the LA auto show... i think the car looks badd ass...

Sorry guys, it doesn't do anything for me.


The good thing is over here there are a whole lot of Audi/VAG fanatics and they will probably buy Audi R8 to complete their Audi A4/A6's. So hopefully we will se a bunch of them secondhand after a while at a acceptable price.


Does it have the same V8 as the new RS4? If that's the case I really like the engine because it revs high

But it looks fantastic in person, and if it sold for 90k or less, I'd buy one.

It is gonna need a body kit for me. I am sure it drives like a dream and has excellent ergonomics as most Audis do, but if I do not want to be seen in it, who cares
