Do you know if it cost anything to come watch?

It cost nothing to come watch. Membership for the year is $85, but with that you get a subscription to a car magazine. To race it cost $35 for 3 timed laps. You can also race without a membership if you go with a person with a membership. I normally work the cones for the first group and run the third group. Doing this, you are done by noon.

I haven't done many SCCA events so can I run without joining if I say you are the member sponsor (need you last name)? I would like to try one of their events with my NSX.

Also, what time do they start and when do you need to be there to sign up? didn't see it on their website.

I used to love to Autox but after doing 2 hour work sessions for 3 laps that got to me. I might go and watch.

I have the same feelings about all that work for so few runs. I now run with the Porsche Club and we get 8 runs plus I see a lot of friends that I compete with so it's a hang out and competitive.

You really only work for an hour max. I would like to see other NSXs our there. Hard to compare times with other cars. If you would like to get sponsored, I need to sign you in.

Do you even get out of first gear? I used to autocross a lot before but that was in my 944. I'd drag Andrie out there sometimes. That was back in 1999 or 2000.

My first year doing autoX I would put it in second and leave it there. Now I keep it in first and bang the rev-limiter. This has been working very well for me.

I'll be there, since I regularly autocross with the SCCA, but I wasn't planning on driving my NSX this Sunday. If there is substantial interest and we make a nice NSX showing, then I'll make an exception and switch cars and bring my NSX instead.
