The Officers of the NSXCA Bay Area Chapter are pleased to announce that we have finalized the Christmas Dinner preparations for 2010.

Date: December 15, 2010 (Wednesday)
Time: 7:00 pm

Price per person is $60.00 which includes tax, tip and Soda/Coffee (Alcohol will be billed upon consumption)

We have reserved the Wine Room with a capacity of 42 guests.

For those wishing to attend, please email [email protected] to place your name on the list. Please mail your check made payable to Yolanda Atkinson to be received no later than Friday, December 10, 2010. You will need to pay by cash the night of the dinner for those that RSVP late.

Yes, we are hoping that the vendors that supported our Toy for Tots campaign the past two Christmas's will do so for this year's Christmas event.

I can't believe I just heard on the news that December 15th is the most dangerous day for driving based on auto insurance claims. For some reason this day has more accidents than any other day of the year. Strange.

Anyway....be careful everyone on your way to and from the dinner.

Are you collecting xmas gifts for charity?

Yes, as a part of the festivities we will be holding a raffle similar to what we have done the last two years and to participate you must bring an un-wrapped new toy to receive a raffle ticket. The toys will be donated for the Toys for Tots Christmas campaign.

We will conduct the raffle exactly the way we did last year and that is you will put your ticket into the container(s) that represent the prize you want to win.

To increase your chances of winning we will be selling additional tickets like we did the past two years. The cost for buying additional tickets is indicated below:

1 additional Ticket for $5
3 additional Tickets for $10
6 additional Tickets for $15

Forgot to mention...

Donated toys should be valued from $10 - $15 each, they must be new and in the original package. No plush or stuffed animals can be distributed due to health concerns.

I'm in Los Angeles Monday/Tuesday at least but if I get back on Wednesday I'd like to come. Can I gate crash at the last minute? Would be great to chat with everyone but can't commit at this time.
