Just bought a set yesterday at Ventura Motorsports. False offset they are actually 18x8 + 40 front and 19x9.5 +45 rear. You will need a 5mm spacer to clear the rear calipers. great rims for $600.00. Just needed a set of 18/19 set up to clear driveways.
Nice looking BBS reps and a great deal for $600.
But I hope you are also letting people know that your NSX-R spoiler is a replica by Downforce. Because that's faking the funk, and anyone on your thread who is talking about hating replicas wouldn't be rocking fake NSX-R spoilers by Downforce or fake Mugen turn signal covers by Blodi...
Jagtiger's front reps at a 40 offset requires no spacers because the face is more convex as opposed to esm's "flat" face which probably looks more authentic, but also requires a spacer. His rear wheels are at a 35 offset which is a better fit than the tucked-in 45 offset. Regardless, both Jagtiger's and ESM's look great. Ultimately it's your decision whether or not you want the convex front. As far as sporting real or fake wheels--I think everyone should do as they please and not get so caught up with what others think. I can afford the real LM's, but I certainly think that my reps fit the bill and definitely my budget--staggered with deep rear lip for less than the price of one real LM that could also crack when you hit a pothole. Everyone's got priorities and responsibilities--we should respect them!
The center caps says BBS! I have 3 sets of them in different colors ..$30 each set
Regardless, I would remove those caps. Just tacky IMO. But to "each his own."
He said they came with the wheels, pretty sure if they didn't come with them then they wouldn't be on there.
It has nothing to do whether I can afford something or not. I certainly understand we all have budgets and have to spend our money wisely. The reps look almost as good as the real ones at a fraction of the price. It's a no brainer. But don't be a "Poser" and sport BBS center caps on your replicas. You may fool a majority of people to think you have the real deal, but why? It just makes you look silly by those who know you are faking the funk.
I think that if putting BBS center caps on fake BBS wheels makes one happy--more power to him. Some people have no intention of "fooling" others by using fake LV wallets, or in this case, replica wheels--it just makes THEM feel good. Some people just take their car modding too seriously and it takes the fun out of self-expression. If you think it makes people look silly flaunting fakes, well then--it's probably YOUR problem. I really don't care how others think whether my stuff's real or fake--I've got more important things to worry about. Car modding to me is fun--and I'm keeping it that way : )

yep thats why people should not be putting nsx-r stickers on the replica spoilers.
But the real NSX-R Spoiler doesn't even have stickers (I think they were only the NSX-R concept).
I smell some funk faking going on here... and I don't like it.
Hey theo are these the wheels and the car you Pointed out to me on Thursday
Zaid
This entire thread makes me LOL
You all sound like a bunch of high school girls arguing.
It is what it is. Everyone should mod their own cars to their own liking.. Period. End of Story.
Those wheels will go good with my Rolex, I mean Folex watch

I think next time the hospital wants to give me generic drugs instead of the name brand, I'm gonna tell them, HELL NO!!! It's the real deal or no deal! I don't want to fake the funk!
(sorry, I just like that saying now.. "fake the funk"..haha)
