I've always wondered what a set of Supertrapps would sound like on an NSX.

I use them on a Formula Mazda to reduce the sound from deafening to tolerable in noise restricted areas. Tunable too.
Found a S2000 with one.
Sound starts about 3 minutes in.

They would sound like a Spec Miata - angry bees. It would go something like this.... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Honestly, it would sound like crap. I have heard Supertraps on a lot of different cars and they all sound pretty similar - like crap. Supertraps are for minimal back pressure not for sound.

I gotta say though the GT-One exhausts probably sound the most exotic, I definitely like the flowmaster sound. You can't beat the price and it sounds pretty darned good.

Just got my Tubi installed. What a difference, it is like night and day compare to the stock exhaust. Driving with my friend's 360 CS today, although V6 is never going to sound like a V8, the Tubi had brought my NSX sounding much like it!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
As others have stated above, I am a fan of the Flowmaster... certainly not the prettiest, but has a nice deep tone....and by far the cheapest exhaust setup out there. Here is mine...everything else is stock save for a unifilter and downforce air intake. Stock cats and headers on my 91.

The GRF ex-001 stainless {yellow NSX} is by far the best exhaust on that clip. Very similiar to 5.1

I currently have the RS-R and am very happy with it. It's not too loud but has an exotic sound. I do miss my GM-V2 though.
I was a big fan of the Anytime racing. Now I think I would want the GT-One.
I really like the RM Racing/B&B exhaust. It has a deep, exotic tone and just howls like no other over 6000rpm.
This could go on forever, LOL.:tongue:

Doug Hayashi of NSX Files fame used a Supertrapp on his car. I have his videos and they are fun to watch. Go to http://www.nsxfiles.com/stories.htm and there might be some audio clips in the early chapters - before he gave up on the NSX and went go-karting.

I would have to say my Kakimoto Exhaust with 4 " exit tips this system sounds insane it sounds like a ciggarette boat at idle.I have'nt heard of anyone else running this exhaust ?I found mine here on prime used best buy ever.
