Birdman buys a Bugatti:

The guy is a no class POS perpetuating violence and racism. Just because he has money that does not mean he has class. I would be shocked if he is alive ten years from now. Live fast, die fast.

Owned his record company since 1991 and still alive. I guess all those movie producers of the gangster movies/TV (Godfather, Casino, Sopranos etc) and such are no class POS too. Oh yeah thats different and so its cool......visual violence, sexual situations, vulgary, simulated murder, you name it ..... must be a melanin thing. You know most religions find that hypocrisy is the most deadly sin since it goes unrecognized and therefore uncorrected.

Finally racism is all about a superiority complex, it has nothing to do with hate or holding someone or a people back. It can provide the justification that's all.

Nothing in Birdmans "Baby" songs or those he produces makes that claim. Sure you will hear rage in rap ..... just like those tea party rallys ..... but a rapper is ultimately just a writer and a writer is supposed to write about what he knows and lives.

Everything you hear in rap is something that you will see in the ghetto.... period. Unfortunately the sophistication in rap is almost gone...... its very pop orientated now. The illiterate equivalent of children telling you about their environment and what they see and experience.

First of all there are many people in the US that make money off things that can be argued to cause legal harm ...... cigarettes, alcohol..... etc. This guy has made a ton of money and it's not because he is just a rapper. He formed his own label years ago (Cash Money Records 1991) produced and made tracks for Juvenile (when he was hot) plus is Lil Wayne adopted father and made him the success he is today (produces all his albums).

Birdman is not considered a great rapper period (even with a Grammy nomination)...... he's a business man that produces a product (for various rappers and himself) that people like and want.

Would you like him better if he produced rock, metal, or country and had blonde hair and blue eyes. He's selling his product by the way he dresses, how he talks, what he and his rappers rap about, and the beats he makes.

Hey we know most people on this board don't like rap, so comments like who is that or never heard of him is inappropriate at best and/or shows intolerance at worst. I was never immersed in rock, metal or country (Prince, Michael, and Run DMC for me then Biggie and 2Pac) so I don't get any of those references or know of any of those artist except if they were huge mega stars.

So if I see a comment on one of these lesser known people I don't comment on who are they (with contempt) or what they say or sing about and I definitely don't comment on their personal legal actions. I figure someone on the board thinks it was important enough to discuss (with like minded individuals) and any negative 2 cents from me would be inappropriate.

The purpose of the post was about the car not the man. Either talk about the car or move on to a post that peaks your interest and post a reply if it provides something constructive --- not disparaging a person or culture that you don't like or approve of.

I agree with most of your points but I respectively have to disagree with your own opinion on what the threads purpose was about. Honestly, I don't think it was about a car everyone knows about, but more probable, the some what improbable owner. I would bet more people find the owner as the story.

But secondly, and more importantly different opinions are what these threads are all about and if everyone had the same ones we'd all be bored stiff. Why do some guys freak-out and demand a zipped lip from the opposition anytime somebody dosen't see things eye to eye with the way that they themselves see it?

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, all of us, no matter how much one disagrees .They have that right, to say what they want, with-in the Marquess of Queensberry Rules, of this forum. It's got nothing to do about what we say, but that we can say it. So I think like Mr. Payne says, " chill out a little " and not get so defensive. Have a nice day and let the peoples have their say!

You just proved the point in great detail of things not many of us even knew!

See! It's about the man, Not the car!
