Bosch cop coils

Update. Changed my ecu from aem series 1 to Link G4+ Xtreme. Bosch coil works now.

getting this back to the original thread....

looking to do this, so just checking....do these coils need any signal conditioning to drive them, or does the oem nsx ecu drive them direct?

guessing they can be driven direct, but just checking

Honestely newer tested . Test car had HKS F-con Pro and it had OEM coils and Drives/ driven By HKS ECU ( OEM set-up has OWN driver) Bosch dont need any kind of external driver. However bosch coils is very sensitive if there is something wrong in driver circuit or charge time is too long. That is good feature because coils dont get burnt easily.
We just added small extra feature on driver circuit wires.
Bolt on set is plug and play set .
AEM series 1 ( waste spark ) it does not work , Same ON AEM FIC. ( wrong or too long signal on start ) Rest of direct fire ecus works like a dream !
