everything from the blue screen of death (page fault) to not reconizing my newly installed firewire card.

It recognized my the second fw card I installed but thats when the blue screens started. Ugg!

I guess this thing works smoothly with Mac O.S. but using the windows version has been problematic.
 
I don't know what to tell you about your problems, but I just happened to buy a 10G Windows Ipod for my wife and it seemed to work fine. My comupter already had firewire inputs so I didn't need to install a card. Once you get it to work it is a kind of neat little device though

For me, it was practically a plug and play.
