I have seen the threads where people ground out the brake lamp sensor and trick the system into thinking there is a correct impedance and preventing the dash light from coming on. Right now I am building a set of LED tail lights and bought brand new harnesses and they do not come with the brake lamp failure sensor and the sensors are like $60 and won't be used. Because this sensor is going to be grounded out anyway is it needed? Does anyone not use one or know how to bypass the sensor completely?
