Brake lamp warning stays on after new rotor installation

Hi all... need help here. After installing a pair of new front brake rotors (powerslot) and carbotech brake pads, the brake lamp warning light stays on after every first brake application. Sometimes, however, the brake lamp will not light. But more often than not, it stays on. What could be the problem? Please help, I did the search on this but no luck...

For something really simple, could one of your taillight bulbs be burnt out?

You sure its brake lamp warning, and not brake warning? Brake fluid?

sorry, yes. I have checked all the brake bulbs and none are burnt. Any other suggestion? Please?

Check the ABS sensor. It might have been pushed back or moved during the rotor install.

As Mark (NESXtech) suggested, check your fluid level.

If a ABS sensor would be bad he would get a ABS light, not the brake warning light.

I have checked the fluid level and it is fine. What else can be wrong? any suggestion?

Mmh - isn't that the same light that also comes on when you apply the handbrake? If so there may be a problem with the handbrake contact, just a shot in the dark...
