I'd like to get answers from everyone on this so I can update this list. If there are things I missed, let me know. I want to make a completed list that can be searched out on the wiki page or a stuck thread here (whichever) that we can all reference when replacing out bulbs. It just occurred to me how difficult it is to find the answer to most of these listed.

Please post and tell me the answers to what you know and I'll update this post. Also, if there are bulbs I missed for either car, please let me know so I can add it. I just came up with this list on the fly off the top of my head.

So not one person - knows a single answer on this list? How about some collaboration so I can consolidate all the answers and post a wiki article for quick reference.

After nearly an hour digging through various posts and searching numerous keywords, I've plugged in some answers so far. If there are any errors - please let me know so I can correct. If you know the answer to a few blanks, PLEASE post up. If any are the same for 91-01, let me know and I'll adjust.

nsxter - Thank you!

I have the list complete, I'd like to have some input and verification from others that it's indeed correct. If there are any corrections, please let me know which to make and I will adjust. If any lights are missed, again - please let me know.

Thanks!

This is a great list - thanks for the effort. Here are some updates:

I believe "tag light" refers to the lights on the rear bumper that illuminate the license plate.

My question is.. Daytime running lights differ from Parking Lights in what ways?

Thanks. Sounds like a UK term.

Take a look at my avatar. The lights under the bumper which are illuminated are DRLs. The parking lights are above them in the corners of the bumpers and they are not illuminated.

Hi. I normally use this site for all of my cars: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/

I don't know how accurate they are though...

So is the front bumper corner bulb (parking light) bulb number a 3652, 1157, or 1156??? each source lists a different number.

Also...does anyone know how to get to this bulb? It almost looks like I have to remove the whole headlight assembly!

I'm sure someone here has had to replace this bulb at least once by themselves...

Thanks!

Have you considered READING the owner's manual? Or using the search for something covered 100x before?

I HAVE been using the "search" on Prime to find the answer...but have not yet found the answer.

READ the owner's manual?!? Doesn't that de-value the car if you actually open the book & read it? :D

Seriously, Thank you for the links & advice.

Cheers!

The Daytime running lights are not the same thing.

The front turn signal light uses a 3497 which is a narrow version of a 1156. The 1156 will work if it will fit through the hole in the light. They have the same specs but the 3497 is rated at twice the hour life.

The front position light is a 3652 wedge bulb. This can be replaced with a 168 or 194 (or 194LL) but both output 1/2 the amount of light of the 3652. The 3652 hour life is only 1/2 to 1/7 of the other two.

I think you have to remove the light. There is a screw toward the inside of the light (center of car) you get to it by going up through the condenser hole under the light.

Please post and tell me the answers to what you know and I'll update this post. Also, if there are bulbs I missed for either car, please let me know so I can add it. I just came up with this list on the fly off the top of my head.

Here are a couple:

Daytime Running Light: [this is not the correct term - see below]
91-01 (Bumper): 32CP
02-05 (Headlight): 194

Should be

Front (corner) Position Light:
91-01 (Bumper): 32CP or SAE 168 or 3652 and not 1156
02-05 (Headlight): 194

A Daytime Running Light is a reference to the Canada only DRLs which you will see in the air conditioning condenser intakes under the bumper of my car shown in my avatar.

I think this summarizes all the changes.....

Headlights:
91-01: Low Beam, 9006 -- High Beam, 9005
02-05: Low Beam, HID-D2S -- High Beam, 9005

91-01 (Bumper): 32CP or 3652 (best) or 168 / 194 /194LL
02-05 (Headlight): 194

Front Corner Signals:
91-01 front bumper: 3497 (best) or 1156 (okay)
02-05 side front bumper:

Front & Rear Side Markers:
91-01: 3CP / 168

Interior Dome Light:
91-01: 3175
02-05: 3175

Interior Floor Light (Driver's Side only):
91-01: 194
02-05: 194

Interior Door Lights:
91-01: 3175
02-05: 3175

I don't know how to do it, but can someone make this thread a wiki shortcut or somehow ensure this info is easily referenced by owners?

Absolutely! I have started the process, which needs Lud to create the page to which I can then add the content. Stay tuned.......

And thanks so much for your initial work in creating the original bulb chart.

Actually, I created a Wiki page for this some time ago and I took the liberty of adding some pictures to help explain the front light terminology (according to the shop manual) but I'll leave it up to you to make sure I've included all the most recent additions. It also includes a link to this thread.
