Buying the right TPS

After all the threads on TPS I've read, none mentioned what direction the gear turns. I thought that was odd that it was even different. I just had to return one that turned counter-clockwise. They are all labeled the same "fits 95-05". Am I missing something here? The couple of Ebay sellers I've contacted states that all the ones they have turn counter-clockwise. Where did you all get yours? It's definitely turning different directions aside from looking identical side by side to my old one.
