Mine has a pin hole crack on the seam. Did not know if it was repairable or worth it. Have some time with the holidays coming up if you can. Also, whats the difference in the 2 hoses on the tank. The larger and smaller one seem to go almost to the exact same place. Thanks in advance

My coolant tank developed a leak too.
Because the tank is pressurized when in use I replaced it rather than worry about repairing.
Running out of coolant and overheating can be expensive and for around $100 the OEM tank is reasonable and it should last another 25 years.

Get a new one. Looks good in the bay. Peace of mind. Will last another 25 years.

Just got a new one. Thanks for the help. One final question, should I get a new cap for the tank or will the old one be fine?

Impossible to answer whether the old one will be fine.
Is it original?
Aftermarket?
How many miles on it?
Etc. etc.

Go to page 10-8 in your shop manual.
I covers testing the cap.
If in doubt replace it.

almost 90,000 all original
