[h=2]Carbon Ceramic Brakes for NSX[/h]
Hello,

RacingBrake is proud to be a sponsor of this forum. As some NSX owners have already known us, we were the first brake company introduced our two piece rotors for 97-05 NSX, and further released our affordable but track performer OE caliper BBK for both NA1 and NA2, in economical one piece rotor (curved vanes), or more track/sports oriented two piece rotor combo.

After more than 10 years since we shipped these valuable kits, we are still shipping to NA1 and NA2 owners taking care of their brake upgrade, while almost non of them are buying replacement rings which is a good indication of how durable of RB two piece rotors are.

In the past years RB has expanded our brake coverage to super muscle cars such as GTR, Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette (ZR1), Camero, Viper, Hellcat and Mustang etc. Our offer now including calipers for a complete brake system (Iron or CCB rotors)

We are highly competent in developing CCM brake for your replacement or upgrade need. Rotors only or the complete brake system. Our notable presentations are in Ferrari, GT-R, Porsche, and Viper communities. Most the kits can be shipped within 1-2 weeks leadtime. Please click below to see our CCM capability
http://www.racingbrake.com/Carbon-Ce...kes-s/7196.htm

RB offers most flexible brake upgrade to support motorsports activity from iron to CCM (typically for Nissan GT-R) and CCM to Iron conversion (for Porsche, Corvette etc.), the first kit was built for Corvette ZR1 (C6), and the latest kit we just released was for BMW F80 M3/M4, and the last shipment we made is an upgrade CCM rotor kits for Porsche MaCan Turbo

We look forward to serving your braking need (either for replacement or upgrade), from the oldest NA1 to the newest 2017 with CCM brakes equipped.

Thank you.

Warren-RB

Unfortunately you can't re-use OE calipers due to these CCM rotors are bigger and thicker, and the brake pads must be larger too for CCM rotors. However our offer will come with caliper and pad with a 100% bolt on installation and total system compatibility.

If you could make a CCM brake rotor for stop tech bbk kits. That would be interesting.

11 lbs is that for both rotors?
Dimensions are they 384 X34 or 380 X34 as both are mentioned?
So the continuous fibre CCM can have better thermal properties why not make the rotors so they would fit the stock calipers?
When can we expect the rear rotor?

That's correct. CCM rotors need to be larger and thicker, so is larger in brake pads in order to run CCM brake successfully due to the extra high temperature a CCM brake can generate than iron brake.

The front CCB kit is first released, so you can try it and feel the value of the kit before investing the rear CCB kit.

The rear BBK with hand brake is being developed together along with our CCB offer for Viper, Mustang, and Focus etc. cars w/o drum brakes like NSX. RB front 380mm CCM rotor kit is also offered for BMW F80 M3/M4, Lexus RCF, MB C63, and other popular motorsports cars w/drum brakes.

If you commit to purchasing our front CCB kit now, we can offer a very special deal (50% off) on our rear OE caliper BBK (link below). Better yet is this rear kit can be used as credit* toward future purchase of rear CCB kit when available.

It will be the same exact kit as the one we just got ready to ship to Viper owners for G5 upgrade as well as down size for the new ACR-E that comes with CCB (from 19" to 18" wheels)

The kit offers these benefit for NSX owners.

1. 100% bolt on.
2. Front CCB kit w/RB 6 pot HD calipers and brake pad in one great and affordable price.
3. CCM discs are same as ZR1 - Very cheap to own/run/replace and cost much less than G2 NSX's CCB.
4. Back up by RB's knowledgeable and full after service in maintenance, upgrade, and replacement (disc, pad, caliper rebuild etc.) for both street & track applications.

Just to clarify this RB-CCB kit is designed to use Corvette C6 ZR1's rear rotor @380mm, not Z28's @390mm nor front's 394/395mm. With our low profile 6 piston calipers we know for sure some aftermarket wheels will fit (like Apex for BMW).

However we encourage you to download the template and test fit to your wheels, or PM us if your wheel mfgr ever need other file formats.

For comparison:

Racing Brake - 380mm (15") CCB - 11.65lbs
OEM 91-96 - 282mm (11.1") rotors - 13.0lbs

What's your favorite wheel mfgr. May be we can work it out with them and bundle our brake kit with their 18" wheels so that you can be sure the wheel set can clear the kit, so you save some trouble and money - We can just pass the saving on to you.

Around $1400-1600 depending on where (online retailer - eBay/Amazon, or GM dealer) and when you buy them. Do some web search and you can easily find them.

Once you purchase the ZR1 rotors, you dis-assemble the OE hat, and re-assemble the new CCM disc to RB hat - that's it.

Anybody knows how much Acura dealer charge for a G2 CCB replacement rotor?

I like volk and also advan. I appreciate the offer but it sounds as if only certain 18's fit?
