So I have been wanting to start using Carbon Fiber to fabricate/skin car parts, however I had little experience in cf but a crap load in fiberglass. So I decided to practice on items I had around the house.

I started off with my Kramer Focus 6000 that I intended on re-painting anyway. I think it turned out pretty damn good! I did a texture on the back and sides to avoid the hours of block sanding it took to get the front as smooth as I could.

Since this I have also done a pair of Oakley Flak jackets. I used the vacuum technique on these which was much different but a similar result.

Time to start working on some NSX parts......but what to start with?!

Sorry to bring up an old thread. But that guitar looks sick man!!! How did you do that? Any step by step guide? I was just thinking of doing that to my JS24P but maybe I will try it out first on my JEM Jnr (nope not the 555 but the 333 :)
