centre consol upgrade and speaker between the seats

Hello, my name is john bell and I am the very proud owner of a '98 Targa NSX with 90,000 km.

I am seeking advice to upgrade the centre console, so I can upgrade the radio and add a GPS.

I would also like to repair/upgrade the woofer speak between the seats that is not working, but I don't know how to remove it.

I have also thought about installing reversing sensors under the nose at the front of the car to help with parking.

I would be very grateful for some experienced advice and guidance, but in error I made this request under second gen.

There are lots of threads on GPS/console upgrades, but regarding the centre speaker, I thought that was only for the old-style carphone? I didn't think it was functional via the radio. I could be wrong.
