hi guys --

We've put a great package together that you to modernize the interior of your NSX. The package is based on Pioneer's F700BT touch screen navigation system. Included in the package is our stereo bracket kit to mount the unit into the NSX dash. We also include a harness that allows this stereo to plug directly into the factory stereo amplifiers/speaker system. Lastly, we include the new Downforce injection molded plastic console that we have CNC machined to fit the Pioneer unit.

Our objective in offering this package is to produce a kit that any customer can install into his or her NSX within a day at a price that is unprecedented.

With the Pioneer F700BT you get:
1. touchscreen navigation & mapping - all flash based - no DVDs to switch
2. CD playback
3. flash card audio & video - hold 6000+ songs on one 20 gig flash card (sold separately)
4. iPod / iPhone integration with optional iPod / iPhone interface
5. Bluetooth handsfree calling included (external mic included & over-car-speaker audio)
6. external audio-input

perhaps another bundle for purists/simpler folks...

For those wishing for a clean/seamless install of a double-din head-unit w/ high-quality/basic components (both A/V & consoles), this is literally a no-brainer!

S.O.S., if you would offer an analogous setup as above, but preserving the OEM head-unit (for the purists & simpletons, like moi'), there would be a sizable interest as there still exists a coterie/cadre of individuals who want NAV'/GPS integrated into their OEM head-unit, but w/ added MP3/video-playback/Bluetooth capability.

So, such an offering would entail...

- Pioneer AVIC-F500BT

- Honda JDM GPS Display Pod (dark-silver finish to match the OEM center-console)

- custom aluminum or plastic/resin bezel/bracket (easier screen mounting/attachment to the 'pod)

- Aux' input converter/interface (a unit that's tried/tested/true!)
[allowing cd-changer control if possible & mult' inputs for portable MP3/vid'-player and/or XM; iPod cable can be acquired as well]

- any-other harnesses/plugs/cables (if necessary/applicable)

Thank you for your interest. We're going to be focused on the in-dash navigation systems for now. The problem with integrating stand alone navigation units like you're talking about is that they are meant to be able to connect to a computer. By integrating into a navigation pod, this would be more difficult.

Cheers,

Hi Chris,
I really like your "package deal"!
Can you offer a "package deal" including the Carbon Fiber cover and deleting the Poineer unit? (I am thinking Kenwood DNX 8120 instead).
Thanks for all of your support to this forum!
Brian
