Never going to happen, never going to work. This would cause some major accidents, including killing both the Perp and cop.

First of all, it assumes the Perp is going to drive in a straight line at a steady speed. Secondly, once hooked on the cop is vulnerable to the Perp turning around and shooting directly at him with out the ability to maneuver.

This is a really dumb idea, that will never work in the real world. The only person this would have worked on was OJ.

Ridiculous concept and will NEVER work. Very dangerous, not practical, certainly not applicable to most vehicles, etc. Some flyby night LLC that someone started hoping a concept idea will work.

I can see determined thieves installing sheet metal guard pans in the back behind the rear bumper.

I'm pretty sure it would just rip the bumper cover off of most cars. It is a stupid idea IMO.

A lot of cars don't have a frame support that is easily accessible. I see a lot of rear bumpers being ripped off using this.

Can't imagine how many lawsuits would be caused if this system were ever used.
