With all the variety of folks on Prime, just curious to what custom trucks and suvs are on here? :cool:

Here is my old towing beast, wish I had kept it now, duramax diesels are selling used for what I bought this one for new. The antenna scraped my 8' garage door when I pulled it in. ;) It could have used 40" tires though.

I have a 2003 3.0l Diesel BMW X5 that we use as our DD. Eventually I want to "Drop her on her face" as the young kids say.

what does that mean? lower it?

I've got a 2000 F250 with a 7.3l diesel. Great truck. Pulls my race trailer with almost no fuss. Only way i can tell i'm towing is my mileage drops. It's been reflashed to 700tq/500hp.

of course the new Dodge's (i think) come stock with 850 tq. Figure a reflash on those... 1000 tq?

I have ye ole faithful last year of the old steel frame Tacoma Trucks. It was my daily driver for many years but now i've since retired it and looking to do some fun stuff with it.

What I've done so far:
* 2005 Tundra upgraded brakes (for towing)
* Setrab Transmission cooler (for towing)
* TRD Magnusson Supercharger (for towing)
* Alpine video entertainment system (for the long trips)
* Blistein 5100 shocks
* 2" lift
* Custom Infinity FX35 retrofitted projector headlights (the OEM headlights are god awful)

What I want to do this year:
* full tube bumpers and rock sliders
* maybe a SnugTop bed cap since i'd like to get back into camping this year

Ultimately, I find myself needing to tow the NSX more and more to track days. I might have to step up to a full size truck eventually. I haven't had guts to tow 5-6,000lbs+ with this thing (NSX + Trailer). It does fine towing my buddy's Spec Miata (3800lbs total)

Coils or bags. Drop it a few inches, a nice set of wheels and an exhaust system. Time will tell I guess.

I've got an '01 7.3 Crew Cab long bed with a 6spd in it. It's my work truck/race trailer hauler. Only 405K miles on it and it still runs like a top! Bought it with 200K about 2 years ago (I drive A LOT for work).

Performance wisse, other than the air filter, 4" MBRP Turbo Back Exhaust and Superchips 1705 tuner, it's essentially stock. Upgraded to the '05 grille/bumper when I hit a deer and the '03 clear housing headlights. Also put an '08 tailgate on it. I'd put a slight lift and bigger tires on it, but I am always climbing in the back to get tools and the rate at which I go through tires is astronomical so I don't want to spend any more than I already do on them.

Next truck will be another 7.3 if for work. If for leisure, I'm buying a 6.7 King Ranch.
