A little OT, but this summer I'd like to do a long road trip... just somewhere into Eastern WA, or perhaps just down the coast. Do an overnight thing.

Maybe in June?

There's nothing east of the mountains. Down the coast would be a lot more fun. State parks in OR have yurts in them. And the Tillamook cheese factory.

Rhonda and I are heading over to Yakima that weekend to do the t-pee and horseback riding wine tour. Basically drink wine and ride horses from winery to winery. We leave Friday afternoon. But for an idea, Canon Beach, Oregon has a Ferrari meet in May where they close main street and have a car show. Its pretty cool.

Seaside kicks ass too!

We used to rent beach houses when I lived in Portland for the weekend...even a night. They're not that bad.

Perhaps we could get a little group together and go party it up. lol

Love to do both, also love Cozmo's idea icecream at tillamook for me. So the Fowler will meet us at the BBQ may 3rd then.

I will provide map to Bill's the day we travel. Is may 10th better? I have 2 more cars may10th.

i didn't know Bill lives in Yakima!!! I have a day off on the 10th, not sure if I'll do anything with mom on that day... tempting to do a little road trip with you guys.

My mother is on the other side of the country. A phone call and a drive to Yak sounds fun!

The ten-day outlook shows rain all through the timeframe around the bbq. I'm out if it's going to be raining.

I need to make sure I can have my call covered before I can commit to bringing anything. I'll know in a couple of days.
