Detailed today

[CL65 Captain]

Three day process....

Washed and use Turtle Wax B&T remover to get all the tire rubber marks off the car - several track weekends since the last time I detailed.
Washed again.

Used my Porter Cable 7424

Pinancle Ultra Poly Clay
SurBuf 4" pad - Meguiers #105 <--- I like these pads better than wool with the PC.
CSS 5.5" White pad - Menzerna P091E Intensive Polish
CSS 5.5" Gray pad - Menzerna 106FA Super Finish
Blackfire Sealant
P21s Carnuba Wax x 3 coats (12hr dry between coats)

First time using smaller pads (4" & 5.5" vs my old 6.5" pads) and I have to say that it does a much better job with the PC going to smaller pads.

Also first time with Blackfire Sealant and I like it better than the Klasse I was using which was a PITA to get off.

And first time layering the P21s Carnuba over the sealant. A+ Easy on and off and looks fantastic.

My girlfriend, who HATES my car and calls it "The Ring" because I bought instead of a ring, even made an unsolicited comment that the paint looks like it's wet.

I did. 15 gallons of 93 octane.

Very clean, impressive for a car that sees so much track use! I just detailed mine last weekend as well, but not as thoroughly as you. I spent 1-2 days on it before I became totally exhausted and resigned myself to the fact that I really just want to respray the entire car (nose especially). I just drive it too much (100 miles/day) to keep it perfect. It may hurt resale value to go that route, but oh well.
