DIY 3m carbon wrap

Is there such thing as an adhesive promoter spray for the fiberglass?

It is made by 3M - I used it once and will tell you that you do not want to use it if you ever want to remove the stuff.

I wonder what effect this has on police radar/laser?

+ it's only good for 3 years exterior use and 12 year indoor keep that in mind. It will fade in direct sunlight. So I wouldn't glue it on at all.

I saw a G35 at a local carshow yesterday. Parts of the interior had been wraped and I very impressed with the work in person.

I just got this stuff
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CARBON-FIBE...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b84bc674

Its a gloss version with the same air release and what not. I think the gloss looks a bit more real in person then the matte stuff. I tried the 3m while nice, IMHO the gloss looked more realistic.
But either one, the stuff is so easy to work with. I watched this video and my first try came out perfect. I did buy a $12 heat gun on amazon

And BTW, I removed the 3m to put on the gloss, nothing left behind. Not sticky or anything, like it was never there.

Just my 2c, but be careful for 3M knock off products on ebay. There are two kinds of Di-Noc wrap. One is the older thicker wrap, and a new 1080 series that is is thinner and has slight gloss to it, but are genuine 3M with embedded surface, and will last long. The 1080 series is better for interiors as its easier to wrap around surfaces.

Post some pictures how it come-out.
