Hey guys, I've set up a pretty big fundraiser to benefit Doernbecher Children's Hospital this July. If you have time come out and enter for your chance to win some cool prizes. Larry Miller Honda will be matching dollar for dollar everything that's raised, all proceeds go to Doernbecher.

Plenty of free food, live DJ music, ton's of s2000's on display, and raffle prizes. It should be a fun summer evening for everyone, as it's a family friendly event

The cars will be on display but everyone is invited, as the s2000 events are generally small and formal, so it's not a "huge honda tech meet" by any means, but smaller and fun none the less!! Come meet Arley Elizabeth and Kaylee Alana too!

Oh man I am SOOOOOOO bummed! I will be in SoCal competing that weekend. I really wish I could attend this, always been a big supporter of Doernbecher. Hope you have a great event!

I wanted to thank those of you who came out to help and support with the recent fundraiser and s2000 meet. I think the day was a complete success and we had great turn out from the s2000 and NSX community. The meet location itself was in Hillsboro, OR (Just outside of Portland) and besides the local cars, we had good size convoy's from Southern Oregon (2-3 hrs away) and Seattle (3 hrs away). Not only did the s2000 community come out, the over all Honda community was present to support the cause.

My primary goal was to organize a fun get together for everyone with a goal in mind which was a local charity. One place that everyone in the region thinks about is the Doernbecher Children's Hospital located in Portland. It has the most advanced medical care of any facility around. So what better recipient?

The event was structured so people would be entertained with all the cars on display and a live DJ providing up beat music to enjoy. On top of that, as it was hosted at a local Honda dealership, many s2000 specific parts were heavily discounted. In the middle of the event was comprised of the DJ tent, two show s2000s that were built by local tuning shops, two NSX's and followed by the donation tent.

Over 70 cars were present and roughly 180 people were reached.

A fun twist we added was having two national models attend to help with the donations and to drum up interest for the event. They did a great job as they handled all of the donations during the day. People that donated were awarded prize tickets that were drawn at the end of the day. The prizes were vast.

Originally I estimated we'd raise around $250 ourselves through donations and have the dealership match for roughly a $500 donation. However, thanks to everyone's hard work, the donations totaled $836 before dealership match! More than 3 times what we had anticipated.
