As I look around at all the dif options for engine covers, am I wrong to assume that anything other then stock you lose the capability to store the targa?

I think, although I don't have a T-top, that you are right. Anything other than OEM loses the top storage.
The Targa top also can be stored in the trunk... at least i think i read it somewhere here... i also have a coupe :biggrin:
My roof is stored in my trunk. Looks 10x better without engine cover.
