This is a question I've had for awhile but never really got around to finding an answer to. Anyhow, I have 2000 NSX and the steering gets progressively "tighter" to turn as speed increases. This is most felt during 30-45mph when taking turns or corners hard. It was hard to get used to at first, but now that I'm used to it, I love the feel. I don't know how much tighter the steering gets during higher speeds because I rarely take corners hard past 45mph.
In one of the discussions(I can't remember which), someone said that the Electric Power Steering cuts off at a certain speed to improve road feel & driveability during higher speeds. Is this true or can someone provide more detail about what happens to the Power steering as speed increases?
