So i failed emission tests which are slightly different to what you have in the USA.
My car is now boosted, AEM FIC
i did have the cat installed.
The car has been mapped.
but should these really cause it to fail emissions?
What i did realise after... was that i had a flat battery, i had to jump start the car at the test centre! which means the ecu would have reset and i didn't go through the reset procedure. Could this cause the car to read rich?
Or perhaps I could install my AEM FPR and slightly reduce the pressure just for the emission tests and set it back to normal?
Thoughts on both my proposed solutions? Any chance they would work?
