The Honda Way, after playing a major sponsorship role in the Vancouver Island Poker Run, has again stepped up to the plate and offered to sponsor a meet for us. Here is what we are planning on:

-The WHOLE Fraser Valley Auto Mall is participating.
-Every Car dealer/Manufacturer is having their own show on their lot.
-The Top cars of each dealer will then go to the finals for the best in the Auto Mall.
-There are Huge Trophies to be won and Lots of prizes.
-The Auto Mall is spending $20,000 on this event so an “ok” turnout is not an option.
-It is $10.00 an entry which goes to Canuck Place Charity. The entry fee includes a hamburger and drink. If you do not want to register for the show entry is a $5.00 donation which will also get you a hamburger and drink.

Date: September 19th 2010
Time: 12:00 - 4:00pm
Place: The Honda Way in Abbotsford (Fraser Valley Auto Mall)
Plan: 9:00/9:30am meet at TBC Racing in Richmond. We will gather here and perhaps do some Kart Racing. More details to come. At about 11:30 we will head as a group to The Honda Way in Abbotsford. We should arrive there at about 12:30 or so. Hang around until 4:00pm then we can cruz or eat or whatever.

This event is open to ANY and ALL Honda's so please pass the word and I will be posting this up on all the forums. Oh the TBC meet is for the most part S2K/NSX owners but the meet at The Honda Way is all Honda's..., As Sokha says "Calling all Hondas"

I would like to thank everyone on behalf of Canucks Place and The Honda Way for showing your support on the first ever Honda Way Show n Shine. Due to the large number we are expecting Registration will start at 9:00 am.

We have some very rare classic cars that will be showing up for all you classic car guys! I am working with Ben at AJ racing for some JDM goodies. We have a Canuck Signed jersey that you can enter to win.

We have a Trophy going to the BIGGEST car club that shows up! So its up to you to represent for your Club. So far it looks like its going to be dominated by S2000s. I will have a master list hosted on my website later to view the.

I am still ironing out more details as of prizes and giveaways so keep checking back. lets do it for the kids guys, all proceeds go to Canuck House!

The following was posted by Sokha of the Honda Way:

Hey Guys!

Great job on S2ki.com members so far. You guys are owning the registration numbers.

Please VISIT

Show n Shine Registration

To register your car so we can begin to keep track of everyone. Looks like we have a custom body shop out here who has a whole bunch of low riders they roll with that is also going to register!

So far the S2000 community is going to take away the "Biggest Crew" Trophy! Lets keep it that way!

This is now open to any cars..., Come on out and support the Canucks House (a place where family members can stay when children are being treated). It is only $10.00 to attend and you get a hamburger drink and chips and get to socialize with a great bunch of people.

Register with the Honda Way at link above or PM me and I will get you on the list. Let me know if you want to attend the Pre-meet in Richmond at TBC Kart Racing or if you are heading directly to The Honda Way.

Thanks in advance.<!-- / message -->

I have updated the post on page one with a banner from The Honda Way about the event. Have a look and don't forget to register...,
The Honda Way are having a raffle for two trips to Las Vegas for eveyone that has registered on The Honda Way registration forms before Monday September 6th.

That is right. The Honda Way is raffling off a trip for 2 to Las Vegas. To qualify all you have to do is register for the Show and Shine being sponsored by The Honda Way on September 19th.

The link to register is here:
The Honda Way Show n Shine Registration

This raffle is for anyone that has already registered as well. Registration is $10.00 and the proceeds are going to Vancouver Canucks House. If you don't wish to participate in the Show and Shine please come out anyway. For a donation of $5.00 you get in on the BBQ.

OK looks like a change in plans and I will PM everyone on my list here. The time was changed on the event from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

This means we should probably still meet up at TBC but we should head straight for Abbotsford so we can be there around 10:45. Since the event ends at 2:00pm we can all cruz back to TBC and do the Karting which will allow us more time.

I think the pre-meet should be at 9:00am though..., if you can't make it please PM me. I will let everyone know this by PM as well.

Sorry for the confusion.

OK so here is the plan again.
Pre-meet
When: 8:30 - 9:00am Sunday September 19th
Where: TBC Kart Racing in Richmond

Islanders should arrive around 9:00. We will leave TCB at 9:30am and head to Abbotsford (The Honda Way). We dhould get there around 10:45.
Show and Shine ends at 2:00pm so we will then head back to TBC as a group and hopefully arrive there aroun 4:00pm. Truong (S2Ki) is the manager there and has offered us some discount racing for S2Ki members that attend TBC.
That is it. See you people at TBC around 9:00am Sunday. Take care and drive safe.
