FIC install instructions without beer.

This is the only documentation on prime how to setup fic can anyone elaborate on the vacuum hose part.

Step 1) open beer
Step 2) move passenger seat forward, remove panels.
Step 3) carefully unplug ECU plugs.'
Step 4) plug in boomslang harness to ECU. Press carefully and firmly.
Step 5) plug in boomslang harness to F/IC.
Step 6) route vacuum hose through firewall. First you must remove the circular rubber gasket and it's 3 or so screws on the firewall. That way you can access a hole leading to the engine compartment.

Step 7) Mount F/IC.

The FIC has a vacuum hose nipple for sensing boost pressure within the engine's intake manifold. That hose would run from the FIC in the cabin near the stock ECU into the engine compartment and be tapped into a vacuum hose that is tied into the manifold, for example the hose connected to the top of the fuel pressure regulator.

That's very interesting, i was wondering about the nipple on the FIC.

Why does the FIC need this? to control boost or just to monitor it?
 
Is just a FIC really.. a Boost controller and waste gate springs etc accurately control boost. just helps set itself up to work with fluxuations in the motor ie boost/vacuum :)
