The rest of the exhaust is the GT Lightweight with DCSport headers.

That sounds nice. My GTLW doesn't sound like that. I might have to look into these resonated test pipes. I'm using Prospeed Hiflow cats right now.

On a side note, where the heck do you guys find these great deserted roads to test your cars out on?

Enjoy. :)

Please post a vid too once you get them on!

Thanks guys!!

so what is the difference between the comptech test pipes(which are just hollow tubing with flanges) and these "resonated" pipes?

I'm wondering how much difference in noise levels it makes?

While it does reduce the noise a bit, the perception is that it actually reduces the noise more because it greatly attenuates the raspy, annoying sound.

You can watch many videos of "raspy" NSX exhausts and when you listen to the ones with the RTP you can really hear the difference, much smoother.

Honestly, this was actually the first product that I made for the NSX (but I only decided to sell them recently) since I originally had cantrell headers and an ark DT-S with test pipes and could not stand it at all.

That sounds really good. I have the same exhaust with straight test pipes and its pretty loud and raspy right now. Might have to get these

Yup, my car isn't really any quieter than it was before, it just doesn't have the tinny rasp any more.

Here are a couple of before clips I pulled from some other vids.

With cats:

Cant wait to couple my Ap-X Res test pipes with a Pride V1!!!! I currently have a comptech exhaust so the difference should be night and day. I will most definetly post before and after videos.

Yo angus when are they shipping out @____@

I installed the resonated tp's this week. I've only had a few miles in the car since, but here are my impressions:

(Pride v.1, headers)

The exhaust sounds deeper and smoother. Maybe a hair quieter. I did notice that I no longer have to feather the gas around 2k to get around that tinny sound, which is what I was looking for. For some reason, it's a lot smellier than the old tp's. Maybe they just have to get broken in?
It sounds really good from inside, but I want to hear a fly-by from the outside. I'll try to get a vid soon, but may be hard with winter wx coming.
