I would buy it for the shell and depending upon how high the water was, the motor and transmission. The rest...toss it out.

There was an 02(?) sebring available here for $45K a few years back - said it was stuck in am underpass and had minor water damage - maybe up to the seats.
I still think about this one - said there had been no issues or smell after 3 or 4 years. This may have been something to look at.
So I guess it depends.
Guy I worked with bought an Cadillac XLR from katrina - something new (trouble) was always popping up on him - maybe he cleared up the issues.
