During the Buffalo Stampede this past weekend interest was expressed for a Fall Fallingwater Weekend Excursion.


Attendees would arrive on Friday for a Dinner Event

Saturday we would tour Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob House and possibly another Frank Lloyd Write house at Polymath Park. Lunch during the day followed by a special dinner.


Other potential sidetrips include seeing the Flight 93 Memorial and driving portions of the National Road - http://www.nationalroadpa.org/legacymapweb.swf.


If you are interested in attending please indicate your weekend choices as 1, 2, 3 and respond by August 13. You are not obligated at this point to anything other than providing your opinion. If you don't think you'll be attending then please don't confuse us by responding. We expect to need to book hotels and tours within the next few weeks due to the popularity of fall visits to this area. Some hotels/inns are already booked for these weekends.

Hey Carla, I'll make it easy for you. We will go with the flow. What ever date the group likes is fine with us.

tell me about it. It took me FOREVER to get all that yellow paint off the car (and the white paint as I went over all the lines I could). Never again!

I really want to do this one and definitely can't do the 12,13,14 possibly the 19,20,21 and 27,28,29. I have to check with Basia which days would work for her. Hope we can make it this time...I may have to sacrafice a track weekend for this one...:wink:

Though I'm still waiting to hear from a few folks (Tytus!!!!!!) we seem to be leaning towards the 26,27,28.

Will post later today on the exact dates so . . . Tytus get me your schedule!
 
The last weekend would be my preference but I can't commit right now either way as I have too many irons in the fire...go ahead and pick what works for the most people and I will adapt my schedule accordingly if I can make it.

Make sure you get fallingwater tickets in advance team... These are tours scheduled on the hour, and yes, they sell out!

Hey...........anyone from near Buffalo are want to meet up and drive down with me?? Can this be opened up some other Canadian's - some may want to join in. Looking forward to it. Thanks for organizing............
 
Just waiting to get the okay from the hotel that they have our group code in their system then I will post here and an email will be sent out to NSXCA members in the NE, portions of the SE, Ohio and Canada.

Sorry had to do some work this week as well!
