Dropped by my friend's today and ... OMG ...   ... check out his latest "NSX expression"

Sorry for the poor image quality as I only had my camera phone on hand. I just had to snap a few shots and show it off to you guys.

This is probably the prettiest front bumper grill design I've ever seen. Striking and stylishly blends in with NSX' personality. Functionally it also protects the entire cooling systems from road debris.

Well, I sure would like to have a set. I am trying to talk him into doing a set for me but would also like to gauge the group's interest in this front bumper grill kit. It might make it worthwhile for everyone if there is enough interest in some sort of group buy. This is just a work of love and he is not going to turn this into a business. But I figure since it is out of the passion for our beloved NSX, why not share it with everyone.

What do you guys think? Interested in a GB?

Count me in PLEASE. I have been inquiring about this for awhile in my thread already.

Can you post more clear pictures? And post the costs...

Have to be honest - looks like a piece of plaster/stucco lath.
That stuff works great on the side scoops but not my personal taste on such a large area.

To be honest I don't like it, looks too much like a Ferrari. I had a similar project in mind but then threw it away.

Hey Jerry, that's Ramon's old car, which is now Tom's. Last time I dropped by his shop, I noticed the mesh grills. Looks nice and really fits the NSX. Did you get a chance to hear that car's exhaust. One of the best sounding NSX's I've ever heard..A clean, refined, high pitched scream.

I don't like it either without being a hater it just looks cheap.

I don't like it either but I think it is because of the location. If they were mounted deeper into the cavity I believe it would be super! I am certainly interested. Maybe I could get a set and modify them to mount on the back of the opening. Better pictures will help, but really appreciate the effort and the post.

terrible, maybe nicer on a civic or integra:wink:

Not feeling it on 91-01 front bumpers. there's a mesh in the 02+ rear valence. a front matching mesh might look good for 02+ nsx's with its front.

I agree upon having it in the back of the bumper, and then it is easy to make the mesh yourself without having to precut to accurately. Glue it on in the back of the cavity and use plastic strips to hold it in place until the glue has hardened.
I did it on my CR-V and it turned out like this:
