Hi, I've got a 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6-Speed for sale.
- Quicksilver/Black
- 6-Speed Manual
- Original 6-Speed TT, not an auto to manual conversion, not an NA to TT conversion, not a repaint
- 1 of 24 built in this color and configuration for the entire US production run of the Supra
- 100% Stock, no modifications - these cars are pretty difficult to find stock these days.
- 72K miles (but very good condition for the miles, looks like it could easily be a 30K mile car)
- Very clean, both exterior and interior
- No known mechanical or electrical issues.
- All VIN tags present except front left fender, which was replaced by previous owner after a girl on a bicycle ran into and dented it while parked.
- $6K of service done in 11/2008 at 70470 miles, including, but not limited to new clutch, timing belt, water pump, transmission fluid replacement (with genuine Toyota V160 oil), clutch master & slave cylinders, thermostat, underbody panels, hoses.
- New Battery installed 6/2009 at ~71K miles.
- Service performed by Bruce Nomura using all Genuine Toyota parts. Bruce is one of the top Supra mechanics and tuners around the San Francisco Bay Area. Bruce is very familiar with, and willing to vouch for the condition of this car.
- Detailing work performed by Mike Lee at Detailing Dynamics. Mike is also familiar with the condition of the car.
- A few of the San Francisco Bay Area Supra guys have seen the car as well, and can also vouch for the stated condition of the car.
- All service records and every tank of gas accounted for during the time of my ownership.
- Car is located in San Francisco Bay Area, CA
Asking $49,500 or best offer.
For QS 6SP TTs, Low mileage stock examples routinely sell for $50K-$60K, and higher mileage, or heavily modified examples routinely sell for $40K+. Money usually isn't the issue, finding one of these rare cars is. I searched 2 years to find this one, and it's not uncommon to wait a year or more for another one to come up for sale, and it's usually heavily modified, beat up, or both. The last 3 stock Quicksilver 6SP TT Supras that came up for sale over the last 2 years all went for over $50K. If you pass on this one, it could be a year or more before another one is available, and it will likely be over $50K.
