Gauge art can bus and sos ems 2?

I have a few questions maybe someone here can answer for me who is running sos ems 2 and gauge art.
1) Does the gauge art need to use the included power connector or do you just use the connector on the ems?
2) Did your sos ems 2 need to be set up to send can output?

Someone please chime in as the car is in transport and I will not dare drive it on the new motor without full engine vital monitoring. Just wondering if I need to purchase anything additional or if I need to set up the ecu for can output.

Cancel this. Unless someone wants to chime in for reference. I will figure it out when the car arrives. Ecu needs to be pinned. Unsure if I still need to select can telemetry on aemtuner but that is pretty straight forward.

Why not just give Chris or Wade a call at SOS? They are always helpful and they sell both items so they will know.
