Ermmm, you do know that Trump has been sued dozens of times and will probably add another dozen to it after that whole access Hollywood skit. Which is sad because at first I hated Trump. But I cannot and will not vote for Hillary. Millennial's vote for Hillary because they never worked hard a day in their life. I am gen X. In my mind the world was never as f'd up as it is now under socialist democratic rule.
Maybe, if we all are not pleased with this election results, Prime members can come together and actually do something rather than complain about it? I feel helpless in the fact that what I stand for as many other do, is being sold away to the highest lobbying crooked politician. It's a piping hot mess and I feel I need to stop lying around and let it happen.

You can't be in business and not get sued at some point. When you do a lot of business you'll get sued a lot more. When you pay instead of go to court the rate in which you get sued will increase even more. When you run a really big business you will have people working for you that may do things you don't agree with. You can't be everywhere all the time. This is an impossible concept to understand for anyone who doesn't run a business.

Back in 1994 I was hit head on by another driver that didn't have a license, no insurance, no registration, no inspection, switched plates, failure to keep right, seven tickets in all. They sued me and my insurance paid them because it was cheaper to pay then go to court. Just because someone gets sued doesn't mean they've done anything wrong. Just this summer I had a roofer put a new roof on one of my buildings. It leaked and did a bunch of damage inside the building. Should I not pay this company? Should I sue them? Would that appear that I don't pay the people who do work for me? If you don't do a good job there should be a penalty. Agreed?

One of the women, Summer Zervos who is accusing Trump, her own family came forward yesterday and said not only is she lying but Gloria Allred is paying her 500,000 dollars to lie. Another woman, woman on the plane, who claims to have never met trump before or after her alleged incident has been sueing trump for a completely separate issue for years now, over a tree that Trump planted on his property that blocks her view. I read the court case. All the other women will also be proven liars. All the information is out there. I looked at both sides of most issues that have been brought up. Pretty obvious who's lying.

I think you might be right about millennials. I was trying to come up with an example of someone I know that works really hard but I can't. I'm sure there are millennials that do I just don't know them. I can think of one guy who worked really hard but only until he got his passive income up to what paid for his lifestyle then stopped working. I can't blame him for that but it's a really low level lifestyle. I've had a few that start off like they are gonna work hard, but they eventually fade, can't keep up day after day. I had one guy drop to his knees after running a jackhammer for an hour. He was half my age and twice my size, said he was ex-military. Many get a degree and think the effort ends there. When they don't do well it's someone else's fault. The ones who don't get a degree often work a lot and get paid peanuts for doing so. Mostly because the cards are stacked against them to work for themselves. Now to start a business you immediately have the hurdle of coming up with at a minimum health insurance every month which is an excellent deterrent to just go work at Starbucks for peanuts. But even millennials with a degree end up working at Starbucks. They are at a disadvantage to the non college educated person because they have huge student loans to pay each month. Student loans btw operate exactly as credit cards use to operate before the fed sued the credit card companies for operating the way they did. Then they promptly switched the way student loans operate. If anyone has a student loan I'd strongly recommend reading up how student loans work and why it's takes so long to pay them off. They should be illegal, in fact the fundamentals of how a student loan works is illegal for anyone else to do except those that write student loans.

Things are a mess for anyone who's not connected. There needs to be a huge shift of production, jobs, labor that moves from the public sector to the private sector. As an example, I don't know, buss drivers. When a person works for the city driving buss and they make 85,000 or more a year. That's great for that person. However the guy who works for greyhound makes 35,000 a year. The problem is there are more people working driving city buss then there are working for greyhound. So that's higher pay for more people. True if the thinking stops there. But the greyhound driver makes less and the taxes they pay have to pay the city buss drivers paycheck. More city bus drivers, paid more from a smaller group equals a deficit that won't go away until the system does a 180. The public sector should pay less and be a training ground for the private sector. There needs to be more people working in the private sector than the public sector. They've almost completely done away with vocational schools in an effort to push everyone through college which is really just a liberal factory to impregnate liberal ideology. Before you know it a plumber, carpenter, auto mechanic will need a college degree to get a job.

I've always been saddened each time I hear Hillary or any politician talk only about college aspirations for today's youth with never a single mention of anything else, such as vocational school or opportunities. Saddened for this lack of reality of perspective by politicians themselves, and saddened for its rubbing off onto listeners nationwide w/o the ability to question what they're hearing. All this talk of "Make things in America again," but if everyone's looking for an office wall to hang their college diploma on, who's going to man the production floor and keep the machinery/systems running.... Vocational hands-on work seems to be treated as the unwanted stepchild who's expected to flourish w/o any acknowledgement or encouragement. I admire every plumber I call to to fix something I'd rather not (or can't) fix as they drive away in a van with their name on it after I've paid them $150 for less than 1.5 hours of work.

And then there's the fantasyland talk of relief from the high cost of college loan debt and notions of "free tuition..." If college students go for free, are the plumbers, welders, and carpenters going to be expected to taxed to pay for their loans? :) And what about reparations, for those of us who had to pay for college? :) :)

Good luck tomorrow, all.

They should change the voting system, from electoral college vote to popular vote. Otherwise, your votes don't count. "Winner takes all" is BS system.

Agreed

When I was in school we had to do a poll/survey and most people felt the same way.

At least the majority of you guys do not live in California and therefore have propositions. This year, the state is flooded with them so much that people do not know which way is up. Everything from taxing soda and groceries to legalizing marijuana for personal use. So, basically they just raised the legal smoking age to 21 in California but yet, they are trying to legalize marijuana and there are cartels running ramped through our rivers and delta's cultivating it. Poisoning the water, setting booby traps, destroying/poisoning wildlife, and most of the product goes to the east coast. We are sofa king retarded here it isn't even funny anymore.

Boy,I miss South Florida.... The beach is calling me back very soon... How did the country start sucking so badly????
Sometimes I think I am just getting older and more cynical but then I find out I am not the only one who feels this way on a daily occasion. We have a lot of work to do here. It's a hot mess.

Also, @steveny I cannot agree more.

Every plumber or electrician I know, who owns his own business, makes more money than every lawyer I know.

Anyone who believes they can attend college for free probably shouldn't go to college in the first place because they don't have a firm grip on how math works if they believe in free anything. Do they still teach cost shifting in college?

Anyone with a good set of eyes must be able to see how college campuses expanded and built out and up after college was "required" to obtain a job, or maybe jobs that didn't require college were removed. American youth was fleeced with the promise of a job after college when 50% of the students should not have ever stepped foot in the classroom. In fact 30 years ago they would have failed out because the college actually required passing grades and not just payment for classes.

With eyes wide open you can see the exact same thing going on with healthcare facilities. I haven't driven by a hospital lately where they aren't building up and out with the required "tuition" or I mean health insurance payments they are bilking everyone for every month. Another great fleecing but instead of being promised a good job you're being promised good healthcare. Again I've met nurses that went to college and paid for every class so they got their degree.

you were right on!

you were right on!

couldn't disagree more... all the progress we've made over the last 50 years will be reverted...

Womens rights - gone
LGTBQ rights - gone
Clean Energy - Gone
Climate Change - no plan to intervene
Millions of people will lose their health insurance and it will get replaced with what exactly?
Including the pre-existing condition clause which prevents millions of people from qualifying for health care.....
Trade wars with our allies -- huge mistake that will cause massive economic loss
Tax cuts - this will cause additional economic loss... you cannot cut taxes and expect growth... it never works.
Teaching our kids that being a bully and sexual predator is OK and encouraged.

The list goes on and on... how is this a good thing?

I cannot believe he has duped so many people....... he does not care about any of us no matter what he says.

we can all disagree....before you condemn him and the country that elected him, lets see where the new Washington will take us...

we can all disagree....before you condemn him and the country that elected him, lets see where the new Washington will take us...

We've seen these trickle down economics before and it has never worked.... tax cuts for the rich do not create jobs or grow the economy in any way. The rich get richer and the poor stay poorer. Btw my last post is not conjecture or hyperbole. Those are the facts. That is exactly what is happening whether you'd like to acknowledge it or not with all due respect.

The poor don't pay taxes....and the tax cuts will reach the middle class...Like I said give change a chance...gridlock and divide was the legacy of the last 8 years....I hope this mix will make something happen.

This all sounds like a rebroadcast of the main stream media. If you want I can send you links that debunk each point. Let me know if I can help. We gave obama a chance and he divided the country and raised my expenses substantially. Let's give something else a try.

Haven't you ever seen a movie that you liked and the so called experts said it was horrible? I try and not Judge until I have my own experiences to gauge with.

I did not care much for Trump, but I hated Hillary even more. I am glad he won and I will be interested to see how things turn out. The funny thing is that the people voted for it and Hillary lost in a landslide. So man up and accept it.
There are many things I disagree on with Trump but then are are issues I do agree on. The American thing to do is allow it a go just like Obama and Clinton did instead of rioting and burning down buildings like we have here in Oakland.
The man kicked ass in the election. He also is not, in my mind a stupid person. He's smart. He took down Washington by throwing slurs and nonsense. I guess he knew what the people wanted to hear.

Also, who here needs weed? I am making a circle K run.

I keep going back in my mind to something Trump said when Ryan wasn't supporting him. Trump said "they don't know how to win, I will teach them." Same goes for anyone doubting what he's gonna get done. It's not going to be obama getting blocked and then signing executive orders or just laying down and taking it. It's gonna be Trump bringing the person front and center who is blocking him, and again the people will rise up and demand they step down. One person is not going to block the will of the people with this president.

And the neat cool thing is the liberals started all the crowd shaming in the first place. Now it's gonna bite them is the ass!

His IS repealing the ACA... and all the protections that go along with it... Which drastically affects my ability to qualify for health coverage due to pre-existing conditions. what is there to debunk? The GOP has a majority in the house, senate, presidency and soon to be Supreme Court...... he has nothing stopping him.

Steveny, you cannot vilify "liberals" as the one who's doing the shaming when it was Trump's own words that everyone chose to ignore. And yet as soon as anyone points it out, it's "crowd shaming"?

Bragging about sexual assault, (misogyny) telling a judge that they are incapable of doing their job based on their ethnicity, (racist) constantly fat shaming women that they are not good enough (sexist), saying we should block all muslims from entering the country, (Xenophobia) etc etc etc... I am not making this up.... so where is the debunking and "crowd shaming" for things he ACTUALLY said?

It blows my mind how everyone can just dismiss all the garbage that comes out of his mouth without a second thought... How can you deny any of these things above? You can't because these are his words and not some "liberal conspiracy" and it's not taken out of context. It's a tired argument. Just listen to him. Very simple. And the "oh he apologized" somehow forgives all that when he clearly has not changed at all? He's 70 something years old... somehow he's going to have an epiphany and now he's a saint? I don't think so. I am disgusted by my country to be honest.

He's not going to "drain the swamp". He has to appoint a cabinet of veteran politicians so nothing is going to be different there than you're boiler plate republican reverting all the progress we've made in the last several decades. It's nauseating listing to people flat out defend him when there is no viable defense for the trash he says. Fact.

Also not to mention now that Netanyahu sees trump winning, there is no doubt we'll be going to war with Iran (for no reason), Netanyahu's life long mission.

Damn man you make it sound like the country is on fire....... news flash, it isn't... well before yesterday it wasn't... How does the country "suck so badly"? Our lives are pretty good last time I checked... what do you really have to complain about? Legalizing weed doesn't impact you (unless you want to smoke it I guess)..

Legalizing weed is a good idea to put the cartels out of business and generate millions in tax revenue..

What he has said and what Hilary has done are two completely different universes. Hilary, proven through her emails, not only says the same things but also acts upon them. She's just better at fooling people and concealing who she really is. Read Wikileaks and you'll have the truth.

He will drain the swamp and health care will be available across the nation. I pay 2100 for heathcare PER MONTH. I can get the same exact plan in a different state for 700 a month. Maybe you can too?

You might not think so now but if you have an open mind give trump a chance you might even vote for him in his next term. I think the biggest deterrent will be, no one will ever see the things Trump prevents from happening. If you think we should have open boarders then go rip the door off your house and throw it in the trash.

Well it's everything that was played ad nauseam on CNN MSNBC Bloomberg abc nbc etc etc etc

Legal weed is no different than legal alcohol. If used responsibility then it effects no one. If I'm hit head on and killed by someone who isn't being responsible then it will certainly effect me... even if I don't smoke it.

And if you believe everything you're told then cigarettes are bad for you yet you're being exposed to another product that has the same qualities. but hey, it'll close budget gaps so I guess it's not bad for your health after all? Seems like a double standard to me. You can't have it both ways. Funniest thing about many pot smokers is they are the first ones to wave their hands around a ciggerette smoker and pretend to be annoyed by the smoke.

Still with the emails? That's it? Oh yea there's Benghazi...

I've read the emails. The majority of them are about her trying to help poor children. Oh the horror.

Trumps words are indicative of his character to which he has none. Btw I'm not a hillary fan at all but trump is dangerous. Mark my words shit will get really bad really fast in 2017. Just watch and come back to this thread this time next year. He duped you and everyone else. He talks out of both sides of his mouth and constantly contradicts himself...

Trump has not provided any alternative to the ACA. Yes the ACA has issues and it's expensive and needs adjustment but outright repealing it is not the right choice.

Anyway I'm so tired of talking about it. You'll just have to wait to see how bad it gets and I'll be right here saying I told you so.

We have it really good right now despite what you hear on fox news. And yea I know everything else is "liberal media" even though the media is not liberal. They're all owned by huge corporations that are run by republicans so there is no "liberal media". It's a total myth. Anything that isn't extreme right is suddenly liberal when it's actually moderate and reasonable.

There is no such thing as draining the swamp. He has no choice but to appoint career politicians to his cabinet... what's he going to do appoint his "American Psycho" sons? LOL

The fear that fox news has driven everyone into a frenzy over does not exist. ISIS is not a threat. Your gay neighbor is not going to try and molest you or convert you to homosexuality... All these social issues they use to distract everyone from what's really happening. The GOP is doing nothing but keeping us in the stone age while the rest of the world passes us by. It's no wonder our education system is ranked 75th in the world.

No one is coming to take your guns, and never will, ISIS is not going to kill you, gays are not a threat to society, gay marriage has no affect on anyone's lives but the people actually involved etc etc... yet Fox news loves to drill it into ppl's heads that it's the end of the world if 2 dudes get married.. yea the sky has not fallen.
