New track being developed near Osoyoos. Still a bit far from Vancouver Island, but better than Mission or going to the States.

edit: Looking further into it, it looks like you will need a membership to use the track, unfortunately. It doesn't look like they will rent the track to driving clubs. Sucks.

Not really news. This has been in the works for a couple of years now.
That's CBC for you. What is old is new again.

At 45 grand to buy in plus another 5 grand membership per year it doesn't sound like the best investment. And they have no plan to put a 1/4 mile track in with it which is something that the okanagan needs way more and could help fund the annual costs of operating for the road course opening it up for more members. The current plan won't work.
