Goodwill TSB service in SoCal

Anybody have TSB 93-007, (Unlocking the Door Sets Off the Security Alarm) performed by a local SoCal dealer?

Any positive experience with dealers providing "goodwill" TSB's?

Looks like I'll be needing this done.

I don't know about any "goodwill" stuff, but you can give Jon Martin at Cerritos Acura a call and see if he can help you out. He is very respected in the NSX community and a good friend of mines.

I had the same issue and the Acura Dealer did a quick fix as they did not want to replace the faulty unit.

What you can do is disconnect the front hood sensor and it makes sure the alarm does not arm when you lock/unlock.

Does Goodwill mean Free? My driver door sometimes sets off the alarm.... quite annoying at nighttime.

If you read the verbage on the technical service bulletins themselves, they mention whether or not they are covered under warranty, then dictate the necessary steps for dealers to conduct "goodwill" service on out of warranty cars.

It makes sense for to conduct goodwill but not when the car comes off warranty for a long time now.
