Gran Turismo Sport for PS4 Announced - Beta Test Early 2016

Thanks for sharing. Over the years I have seen a lot of threads about Grand Turismo and as much as I like this game I'm surprised no one has ever talked about Project Cars. In my opinion I think it's better than Grand Turismo.

I have Project CARS on PC...it is pretty good (my biggest complaint when I started playing it was with their Logitech G25 implementation, but one of the updates improved the deadzone and force feedback quite a bit). But I have to seriously knock it for not having any NSX in its car roster.

But I still play GT6 since I'm inching closer to 100% completion and because I've been having fun with the track editor (I made a slightly sized up but flat version of Buttonwillow...and I mocked up a version of Thermal Club's South Palm Circuit the week of NSXPO, but need to refine it because I made the track too narrow).

I have a feeling GT Sport is NOT GT 7...but a way of getting a GT game on to PS4 sooner than later. I want more details before I get too excited about it.

I agree I don't think this is GT7. There is one think I loved about GT6. It was the Red Bull X car. That's probably the most fun I've had with a racing game ever. The speed sensation of those cars is crazy

I think the obsession with Gran Turismo on here is probably for multiple reasons. 1st, GT was the first real racing simulator available to the masses...so there is always that appeal. 2nd, GT is probably more responsible for people of my generation (18-35 years old) who are interested in Japanese sport cars since GT primarily featured them. On GT1, the NSX was the car that could do it all.

I forgot to post this article...Gran Turismo Sport is not GT7 like I assumed.

I will forever be a GT fan...wasn't the first game that let me drive the NSX (Stunts gets that honor...followed by Need for Speed...and then Gran Turismo).

I even have a GT Virtual Photo Gallery: http://www.akira3d.com/Virtual

I'm still holding out hope that all of the Logitech wheels will work with Gran Turismo Sport...have a Driving Force GT and G25

That's cool, I'm like driving in GT6 on my PS3. But you know, GT Sport seems to be more like Prologue, so the complete GT7 (or how they will call it) will be released somewhere in 2017, I guess.
