how bad is this thing in the snow?

It is actually quite good in the snow, with proper tires. I used Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 tires in stock sizes and was almost unstoppable, even in snow that was so deep that I was cutting through it midway up the front bumper. Even my wife was shocked at how well the car did.

Updates!

A new post resurrecting this thread made me go back & read my contribution to this thread. I then realized I never really fully filled mine in...plus, it's been A LONG TIME, and much has been done, but the "Edit Post" button is no longer there, so I'm re-posting updates here, in hopes that more GPW owner's will find this thread too!
